Vanity and Profanity

Everyone at work keeps asking me (upon being told I was at school all last week, not ill or on vacation) if I’m doing paralegal studies.

1. That’s an associates degree. I already have a B.A.

2. That’s for people who want to be paralegals for the rest of their lives. Or at all. I only do this because its easy and an easy market for my existing skill set.

3. I already out-perform the ‘actual’ paralegals. What is a course at University of Local Ghetto going to add to my life.
